[attr="class","pl7dwel"] [attr="class","pl7dwel2"]A FANCY TITLE NEWSPAPER why did i work so hard on a template for an interest check? anyway,for a while now,i've been dying to do an rp forum based on a series of jrpgs that... unfortunately,i doubt many of you are familiar with. and while that may dissuade a few people from hitting the register button,it actually works in favor of the sort of site that i had in mind:namely one that has a definitive start,middle,and end and follows a story through to its completion. that's right,folks. what usually determines a site's success is its community or the length of its run time;but not this time,folks. it doesn't matter how slow we go,so long as we don't stop. we're gonna see a site plot through to the end – and it'll be a lot easier than you think. if you've never heard of seventh dragon,no need to fret! the premise is pretty simple,and i'll walk you through it a bit here and in length on the site (assuming it gets the support/staff help it'll require to get up and running;here's to hoping!). [attr="class","pl7dimg"] [attr="class","pl7dimgg"] [attr="class","pl7dimg2"]217 DAYS UNTIL [attr="class","pl7dimg3"]NYALA'S DESCENT | [attr="class","pl7dright"] [attr="class","pl7dright2"] it's been more than eighty years since the city barely grazed by its first deadly encounter with the dragons,otherworldly monsters that consume all life they see and corrupt all life they don't,and life has only just seemed to fully settle in the aftermath of violent invaders and raising heroes. unfortunately for the citizens of tokyo,however,the dust has only just settled when it begins to stir once more. dragonsbane has been popping up up around the city,around the world,for the first time since 2020,a sign that can only mean one thing:the arrival of the biggest and baddest dragon of them all. the only way to save humanity from total extinction rests now in the hands of the questionable international special defense force,an unconventional “game company” by the name of nodens enterprises,and you! pick up your weapons and get ready for a ride,because the only way to save the present lies in slaying terrifying beasts dead for thousands of years and even more horrific ones many years yet to come.[attr="class","pl7dright3"]2103 AD – TOKYO,JAPAN [attr="class","pl7dright"] [attr="class","pl7dright2"] members will have eight + classes to choose from,each with their own skill sets,strengths,and weakness,as well as three races and three time periods to pick from. leveling will be done through purchasing rather than experience gains,so the more active you are on site,the faster your character will grow. while this does favor members and characters who have been around longer,however,don't fret! even new members and new characters will be useful and have a place on site,even in large,powerful battles. go at your own pace – whether that earns you a dragon-killing machine or a rookie who pitches in when they can.[attr="class","pl7dright3"]SIMPLE STAT &BATTLE SYSTEM [attr="class","pl7dright"] [attr="class","pl7dright2"] the ultimate goal of the site is to complete something called “the dragon chronicle,” a detailed report of six out of the seven true dragons,massive planet destroying beasts that sit at the top of the dragon hierarchy. while you'll have two of the six parts already completed at the start of the site opening,it's up to you and your comrades to get the remaining four – and this can only be done by slaying the things yourselves. true dragons will land at a designated spot after a certain number of days with a countdown and location being provided so you know where to be and where;it's up to youto make sure you're prepared for the big battle before it hits. once “the dragon chronicle” has been completed,it will aid you in your battle against the final and strongest true dragon,the only thing standing between you and the total annihilation of planet earth. if you succeed,you will have slayed the remaining five true dragons and freed earth from the evil species entirely. should you fail,you'll all certainly go down – and the rest of your people with you.[attr="class","pl7dright3"]COMPLETE THE DRAGON CHRONICLE |

[attr="class","pl7dbot2"]because this will be the first stat-based rp i've run in... well,literally in years,i'd like to get a shot at testing it out and ironing out any potential kinks before this site launches for real. this'll also give any staff who may join me a chance to familiarize themselves with the systems that'll be implemented on the site. rather than get started on the plot,however,before advertising in full and having people miss out,i'd like to do something a little weird:set the beta eighty years earlier in 2020,the first (… er,technically second,but shhhhh,we'll bend the plot a bit for simplicity's sake) time the people of japan had to face off against a true dragon – and all the bad stuff that came with it – and the time in which one of the only two true dragons already in “the dragon chronicle” at the time of 2103 was taken down by the first group of young rookie dragon hunters. it'll be the same basic setup for this reason – only with a different name,a different (and smaller) target,a shorter frame of time,and,surprise,surprise! character classes only available through the beta that can be carried over to the full site once the beta is through.
