Interest, Activity, and Thread Checks

This check occurs each month from the 1st to the 15th. This check is exactly what it implies. Are you still interested in keeping your character? They do not need to be in any active threads for this to count. This is for nothing more that to see if you are still wanting to keep them.

But remember to be realistic. If your character just isn't getting any threads or no one has replied to your character in a while, it might be best to just drop them or rethink the character as a whole. As much as we love our babies, keeping them on life support just because we're sentimental is not fair to the fact that you're hogging a face claim of a character that isn't being used.

So keep that in mind when deciding if you want to keep your characters or not. It's easy and will look like this:

N.O.V.A.: Keep
Circea Xenrael: Keep
Xhirroh: Drop
Léonaris Sabrael: Keep

The activity Check is a bit more involved and occurs every other month and will be held from the 1st to the 30th/31st. This is to verify that you are actually USING your characters. Why have a character if you're not going to use them?

To save a character in an Activity Check, you will need to provide a link to a thread they are in which they have posted to that month. An example for this check would be:

N.O.V.A. - Example Thread Link
Circea Xenrael - Example Thread Link

and so on for each character. Also, in order for this check to count, you HAVE to have replied that month. If your characters aren't in a thread, this is where the Interest check comes to play.. are you still interested in keeping the character? See how these two checks work together? There you have it.

Now, this check is going to be tedious and a bit annoying, hence why this check only occurs every three (3) months. This is also why having your own thread tracker will come in handy.

Essentially, what this check is for is to see what threads are still active, what threads are completed, and what threads need to be moved to the Archives. If a thread has not been replied to in three (3) months, I think it's fairly safe to say that the thread has died. Your thread checks should look like this:

N.O.V.A.:
Thread Name - Ongoing.
Thread Name - Completed.
Thread Name - Dead

Circea Xenrael:
Thread Name - Ongoing.
Thread Name - Completed.
Thread Name - Dead

And so on for each character with every thread they are in. Dont forget this is also where the interest check comes into play. Are you still interested in keeping your characters?
