Q: What's the plot?
A: Shenanigans, mostly.
......... I guess that's not a very good answer is it.. Okay okay Fine! The plot is that this is a completely new and unexplored universe. I have made up a few of my own home brew alien races and made them playable characters. This forum is also Sci-fi Multi Fandom Friendly. If the series is mainly about characters in space and/or dealing in time travel, they could easily be brought into this forum. Now.. As far as the site wide plot?
Let me just quote the bit I have in my advertisement to give you an idea.
Does that help? For the most part, it's free reign with the occasional Event Thread that will revolve more around the hidden plot of the site.
Q: Do you plan to make other types of Aliens? I'm interested in joining but I don't see a race that really suits me.
A: No. The races I have listed are the only races I am making.
HOWEVER!!!!
You can fill out a form to submit and request your own race. Basically, you have to write up the race name, their home planet, their physical attributes, any special abilities or powers they might have, any weaknesses or vulnerabilities, their culture and more. So long as it's not an overpowered (God Mod) styled race, The admins N.O.V.A., The Shadow, Keira Winesberry, The Doctor, and The Hunter are more than happy to accept it.
Keep in mind, though, that if you submit this race, it will be made a playable creature for others to app for. So, make sure you are VERY clear on everything so there are no misunderstandings about how the character should ideally be played. (in other words, If someone plays a race you made, you can NOT approach them and tell them they are playing the race incorrectly if the detail was NOT in your race submission)
Q: This 'Other' group that I'm in is kinda boring. Is there any way I can get my race added to the Census? Get my own race name and pretty color and all that?
A: As an added treat, if 5 or more separate players app for a particular race, it will be given it's own group, color, and segment in both the 'Census' and "Races of AoE' page.
And what I mean by Separate players is.. five.. individual.. people.. Not one player with five characters of this type or three players with a combination that makes up five... Five.. Individual players.. No exceptions. And PLEASE do not make 5 separate accounts pretending to be different people just to get your race added to the census. The Admins have ways of telling who is actually who. And, let's be fair. We really don't like being lied to.

It had once been said that traveling between alternate realities was not only impossible, but also a really bad idea. In fact, I'm sure it's been said quite a few times by quite a few people. Unfortunately, no one sent the memo to The Setravandii.
Now, no thanks to a top secret experiment gone horribly awry, all sorts of unsuspecting space travelers from all across different universes are being dragged, kicking and screaming, into this universe through randomly appearing wormholes.
And if that wasn't bad enough, it doesn't look like there's a way to get back home.
Join The Doctor, The Crew of The Serenity, The U.S.S. Enterprise, and The Starship 'Heart of Gold' as they encounter a crabby Brain Ship called Nova, discover new forms of alien life, and uncover the horrible history of what happened to this reality.
Will they choose to stay and help? Or will they try to find a way home? Can they even get home? And most importantly.. Where can a guy get a decent cup of tea around here?
